What to include

We can help faster when your message tells us:

  • your player tag, which is shown on your profile in the game;
  • where you play: in a web browser, in Telegram, or in our iPhone, iPad or Android app, and on which device;
  • how you sign in: as a guest, or with Google, Apple or Telegram;
  • what happened and when, with your time zone, and a screenshot if you have one; and
  • for a purchase, its order number: for the App Store, the order ID in Apple’s receipt email; for Google Play, the order number in Google’s receipt email, which looks like GPA.1234-5678-9012-34567; for any other payment, the receipt or transaction ID the payment service gave you.

Never send us a password, a sign-in code, a card number or a crypto wallet’s recovery phrase. We will never ask for them, and nobody who does is from Hype Rivals.

Purchases and refunds

I paid but did not get what I bought

Close the game completely and open it again. What you bought is added to your account once the payment is confirmed, and in our apps, an App Store or Google Play purchase that was interrupted is checked again the next time the game starts. If it is still missing, email us with the order number.

Refunds

A purchase made in our iPhone, iPad or Android app is refunded by Apple or Google, under their own rules: ask them through your App Store or Google Play account. We cannot refund those purchases ourselves. For a purchase made on the web or in Telegram, email us. Section 6 of our Terms of Service explains when a purchase can be refunded.

A Google Play Games reward did not arrive

Open our Android app on the account you want the reward on: the game shows the reward and asks you before it claims it. Google Play keeps a reward for you only for a few days. If it still does not arrive, email us with the day you received it.

Keeping your progress

A guest account lives only on the device or browser where it was created, unless one of our apps brings it back, as explained below. To keep your progress safe, and to play on another device, open the game’s menu, tap Account and link your account to Google, Apple or Telegram, where it is offered. Then sign in the same way on your other device. In Telegram, you always play with your Telegram account.

In our apps, when you reinstall the game or move to a new phone or tablet, the app can also bring back the account you last played: on Android through Google Play Games or Block Store, and on iPhone and iPad through Game Center or iCloud Keychain. It cannot always do so, so linking your account is still the safe way. If the app opens an account that is not yours, tap Not you? on its welcome message to start a new game on that device; the other account is not affected.

If you have lost access to an account, email us with your player tag and how you signed in, and we will check what can be restored. A guest account whose device or browser data is gone usually cannot be recovered.

Reporting a player or a message

Open a player’s profile to report or block them. You can also report a House chat message or a House name where you see it. Our community rules explain what is not allowed and how reports are reviewed.

To raise a safety concern that the game’s own tools cannot reach, especially about a child, email [email protected].

House chat

House chat is only for players 18 and over, and sending messages needs an account linked to Google, Apple or Telegram. Until you answer the game’s age question, chat stays closed. In our apps, chat is not available in some countries, and the game tells you when that applies. If an age answer on your account is wrong, email us.

Notifications

If notifications do not arrive, check that they are on in the game’s menu and that Hype Rivals is allowed to send them in your device or browser settings. You can turn them off in the same places at any time.

Updating the app

If our app says it needs an update, the version on your device is too old to keep playing. Update Hype Rivals from the App Store or Google Play. The game is played online, so it also needs a working internet connection.

Deleting your account

Open the game’s menu, tap Account, then Delete account. This works for every account, including one you play with in Telegram. If you sign in to your account with Telegram, deleting it erases all of its Hype Rivals data and keeps only your Telegram sign-in, because that sign-in is shared with another app; to remove it as well, email [email protected]. If you sign in again later, you start with a new, empty account. Our account deletion page explains how to delete in the game or by email, what deletion removes, and what we have to keep.
