Delete your Hype Rivals account
Effective: October 12, 2026Last updated: October 12, 2026
How to delete your account
You can delete your Hype Rivals account, and the personal information linked to it, at any time.
In the game
Open the game’s menu, tap Account, then Delete account, and confirm. This works in our apps for iPhone, iPad and Android and in the web game. The account is deleted straight away, and every device is signed out.
By email, without opening the game
Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Hype Rivals account”. Tell us:
- your player tag, which is shown on your profile in the game; and
- how you sign in: with Google, Apple or Telegram, or as a guest.
To protect your account, send the request from the email address linked to it if it has one. Otherwise we may ask for details that show the account is yours. We delete the account within 30 days of confirming the request, and we let you know when it is done.
If you sign in with Telegram
You can delete your account in the game however you sign in, and that includes every account you play with in Telegram. If you sign in to your account with Telegram, deleting it erases all of its Hype Rivals data and keeps only your Telegram sign-in, with the details Telegram shares with it, because that sign-in is shared with another app. To remove the sign-in as well, email [email protected]; before we remove it, we tell you exactly what that would remove, and ask you to confirm. If you sign in again later, you start a new, empty Hype Rivals account.
Before you delete
- Deletion is permanent. Your progress and everything on the account, including anything you bought, are gone and cannot be restored. No refund is due for anything unused, unless the law requires one.
- Finish what is in progress. Deletion waits while you are in a match or looking for one, or while a purchase you started is still being processed. Finish the match, or give the purchase a few minutes, and try again.
- Nothing to cancel. Hype Rivals sells nothing that renews by itself, so deleting your account leaves no subscription running with Apple, Google or anyone else.
What deletion removes
- Your profile. Your display name and avatar are removed, and your public tag is replaced with a new one; your old tag is never given to another player. You disappear from leaderboards, friends lists and search.
- Your sign-in details: the Google, Apple or Telegram account link, your email address, name, username and profile photo link. Every device is signed out, and if you used Sign in with Apple, we ask Apple to revoke it.
- Your links to Google Play Games and Game Center, and the restore keys our apps use to bring the account back on a new device. They are removed first, so that no device can bring the account back, and we ask Google Play Games to forget its link to the account.
- Your game. Your Coins, Gems and Trophies are set to zero, and your cards, decks, chests, avatars and other items, your achievements, and your season and collection progress, are deleted.
- Your friends, friend requests, blocked players and invites.
- Your place in your House. You leave it, and if you lead it, the game hands leadership to another member who can lead. Your House chat messages, card requests, House requests and invitations, weekly House record and any Boss Chest you have not opened are deleted.
- Your age answers, and the text of any chat appeal you wrote, unless the moderation case it belongs to is still open.
- Your notifications: your push notification tokens, your notification settings and your inbox messages.
What we keep, and why
Some records have to outlive the account. They keep only an internal account number, never your name, email address or sign-in details:
- Purchase and payment records, which we keep as long as accounting, tax and anti-fraud law requires, and so that we can handle disputes.
- Reports and moderation decisions, so that abuse cannot be erased by deleting an account. The copy of a House chat message or House name that someone reported is kept until 180 days after the report is decided, and then deleted. An appeal you wrote stays with its moderation case if that case is still open when you delete your account.
- Your old public tag, reserved to the deleted account so that no other player can take it.
- Cards you gave to housemates, which stay with the players who received them.
- Match results, so that your opponents’ match histories stay intact.
- A record that you asked for deletion and that it was carried out.
- A record of each Google Play Games reward claimed: one-way codes of Google Play’s purchase token and order number, which reward it was and when, without even an account number, so that the same reward can never be claimed twice.
Payments made on a public blockchain, such as TON, stay on that blockchain. Nobody, including us, can delete them. Achievements and scores already sent to Google Play Games or Game Center stay with Google or Apple, under their own policies.
Other choices
- If you just want a break, you can simply stop playing: nothing is deleted. Signing out of an account linked to Google, Apple or Telegram does not delete it either.
- To stop messages: turn notifications off in the game’s menu or in your device settings, or, in Telegram, block the bot the game opens from.
